Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief and Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters movie review

Percy Jackson was first a book and then became a movie, the books where really good. Then they changed them into movies the first Percy Jackson and the Lighting Thief, then The Sea of Monsters.

Smh.com say’s “The Lightning Thief” is about Zeus having a hissy fit because his Master Bolt was stolen and he wants it back. If Zeus doesn’t get his master bolt back it would cause an Olympian war that would wreak havoc on Earths weather.

Smh.com also say’s the kid’s at Camp Half Blood have parental issues because Zeus commanded no god can talk to their mortal offspring. Most other sites rate the movie as 1.5 to 3 stars out of 5.

“Lightning Thief” is considered to be a remake of the Harry Potter because it change’s wizards and witch’s to demigod and Hogwarts to Camp Half-blood.

Hypable.com said that “Sea of Monster’s” is like Harry Potter as well. Hypable.com believed that “Sea of Monster’s” actors didn’t care to make the sequel and this is because Logan Lerman was a good actor in “Perks of Being a Wallflower” and wasn’t acting as well as he previously has, also that “Sea of Monsters” is a stereotype written script . The rating for it is about 1-3 stars out of 5.

Most of the websites had written that both “Lighting Thief” and “Sea of Monsters” are good movies.

I loved the books and when I was in sixth grade I read the first book of the series because of a project that was about books turned into movies. I heard that the Percy Jackson books would become a movie so I picked it for my project.

The project was about taking out the important parts of the book and drawing them in a film strip. I took out the parts believed to be the most important and drew them. Not one of them was in the movie.

I really wanted to watch the movie’s because I believed that they would have been a good movie’s to watch but I didn’t know that director can’t do anything correctly or find the most important parts of a book.
