JROTC Drill meet in Topeka, Kansas

On Saturday, February 11, 2017 the North High School JROTC drill team performed in Topeka, Kansas. The drill team consisted of 26 cadets and 3 adults that went with them. The team left North around 5 the night before so they could be ready for the meet the next day.  While in Kansas the team performed multiple routines against other schools from around the Midwest. For the overall weekend in all the categories they placed 1st in the Physical Fitness Team, rifle team placed 2nd and 3rd, armed drill placed 4th and unarmed drill placed 5th.
