North High Takes On Their Rivals, The East High Scarlets.

On Tuesday, December 8, North High played against their district rivals, the East High Scarlets.
Although, the Lady Bears did not come out victorious, they put up a good fight. Sebit Gatluk leads the team with several three-pointers and the crowd is thrilled for the girls progress each game. The student section shouts the names of each player such as Emily Yin and Shamekia James, supporting the girls every step of the way. In the end, the Lady Bears went on the court and managed to gain perseverance to continue to play hard. The final score ending at 12-47.
However, the boys basketball team ended with a big win at home. The ending score against the Scarlets, was 84-41, resulting in a big victory for the first home game of the season. The game kept the crowd wild with excitement, as Jal Bijieck makes three dunks in just the first quarter. When the crowd thought the boys were satisfied, Dontre English makes another dunk for the team. At the end of the night the boys, ended with six total dunks and a huge win for the Bears.
