North High Basketball season opener against Ame’s Little Cyclones
December 4, 2014
It was a cold and chilly night at the Bears Den. The perfect night for a game of basketball. The Polar Bears opened their season off against the Ames Little Cyclones on Tuesday, December 2.
The game was neck and neck throughout the whole game, Ames leading by one point at half 38-39.
The fourth quarter came around and the Little Cyclones started to pull away leading to an Ames High victory 56-41.
The Polar Bears will be back in action this Saturday against the Humboldt Wild Cats. Be sure to stop by the Bears Den this season to see them in action. GO POLAR BEARS!!! #NHS

This was to be expected, the seniors have parted. Yet, Coach Ryan is pushing ahead with a young team, teaching them to be better in the game, academics and in life. Give the Boys team support as they develop. Many of the kids who sat on the bench last year are now the key players on the court. Always back them, win, lose.
Regardless of how they do this year, wait until you see them next year. They will be unstoppable.
Nice story… wish you had a little more meat in it. A short interview with Coach Ryan and some of the students on the team, both the well-seasoned and the newbies, some of the fans in the stands. Maybe next time around.
