Natural vs Man Made
May 5, 2014
Why is it that you are against marijuana, but for things such as alcohol, cigarettes, and pills? Because the government says it’s bad, and those are better? The ones who shut their system down because they couldn’t make a decision. The ones who put our country deep in debt. I get that it is illegal, but for what? We say America is where you achieve your freedom. But are we truly free if nature is illegal?
Cannabis, or marijuana, is a plant with its main active ingredients being tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) which are both types of cannabinoids.
The main uses of cannabis are as a recreational and a medicinal drug. If it can be used to treat pain and illness, how could such a “drug” be harmful to ones body?
In fact, cannabis has no proven evidence of causing harm to your body. But studies have shown positive effects in taking the drug.
For example: cannabinoids have been shown to kill cancer cells and inhibit tumor growth. Therefore, cancer patients are often prescribed the drug to help in curing their sickness.
Marijuana can also be used to treat migraines, seizures, glaucoma, PMS, and even Alzheimer’s disease.
This medicine is illegal but, alcohol, pills, and cigarettes are legal. Is it a coincidence that those are man made, while marijuana is natural?
Alcohol, pills, and cigarettes are legal because money is made off of them. The government doesn’t care if these can cause death or not. They care about the money that they bring in.
The government is letting you pay to kill yourself.
Drunk driving accidents happen quite frequently. Cigarettes can lead to cancer and breathing problems. Pills can ruin your liver and be overdosed on. Yet they are still being sold. In cases where negligence or harm from these substances leads to accidents or health issues, medical malpractice lawyers can provide legal assistance in pursuing compensation and addressing the resulting consequences. You may also seeking advice from a personal injury lawyer can be crucial in understanding legal options and seeking compensation for damages.
Whether you support or oppose the idea of marijuana, don’t let the government fool you into thinking alcohol, cigarettes, and pills were made to benefit the people.
