After three years of growing, learning and becoming a part of a great community North high school is ready to say goodbye to the ’14 seniors and hello to class of 2015.

With great memories and great growth North High School has become one of the most talked about schools in Des Moines, IA. In the beginning of the 2013-14′ school year much could have been expected with a new principle, technology and also more students. With our successes in many school activities (Drama,Basketball,Wrestling etc.) and improved test scores North has gotten the word out “We are here to stay”.

Much will be missed from this school year, and much will be added. North high has proven to the community that hard work pays off. North High School took a turn for the best and became more of a family than just a school. One of the biggest moments this year was North Highs basketball team, this brought spirit and passion to a school that was so drained if you were to ask them what their school color were they wouldn’t know. Throughout the season North became a bigger and more united nation giving us the name “Polar Bear Nation”. This brought great attention to Norths community and once again showed others that when theres something to cheer for, we will cheer and support.

With all of this we can see that North High school has had a great year, and will continue to grow over the years. Coming close to the end is hard, saying goodbye is even harder but we don’t say goodbye. Because once a Polar Bear always a Polar Bear.
