North High in the beginning
This is the Forest Home, located at 8th and College.

A Look Inside North High History…
1. North High was established in 1890, in the Forest Home.
2. There were only three teachers at that time; also, the first North high principal was a woman named Miss Louise Patterson.
3. North had its first graduating class in 1893.
4. Eventually North grew to become an even better district and proved to many other schools and the public that they too can be strong and fight their way through battles.

The wife of the man who owns the Salisbury House went to North.

And the colors chosen for North by Miss Louise Patterson were pink and green. I had pink lines around my thighs on my green North High wrestling uniform.
